H-Sense
Remote Patient Monitoring System for Home Use
The next generation device of care intelligence for high-risk patients.
Holosis has developed a continuous and holistic health intelligence that empowers high-risk patients to
live comfortably at home.

01
The Challenge
Design a home-based monitoring solution for risk-populations that continuously tracks vital signs during
rest and sleep, while transmitting data to the treating physician.
The key challenge was transforming sensors, electronics, cables, and mounting hardware into a product
that is virtually invisible within the home environment, particularly in the bedroom. The system needed
to be installed quickly, safely, and easily, without drilling, damaging walls, ceilings, or floors.

02
DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
To create a truly unobtrusive and aesthetically pleasing product, numerous concepts were explored,
both mechanically and visually. Special attention was given to installation methods that would suit awide variety of residential environments.
The final solution was based on a pressure-mounted telescopic column that securely spans between floor and ceiling, eliminating the need for screws, anchors, or permanent fixtures.

03
DESIGN PROCESS
A custom aluminum profile was designed to support the sensor while concealing all power and communication cables within its structure. This approach created a clean, organized appearance and significantly reduced the visual impact of the technology within the living space.
Design Philosophy –
The goal was to move away from the visual language of traditional medical equipment and create an object that feels like a natural part of the home. Clean lines, minimal detailing, and a refined
architectural presence allow the product to blend seamlessly into a wide range of interior styles.

04
ENGINEERING
The engineering development focused on safety, ease of installation, and efficient manufacturability.
The product was designed for rapid assembly and reliable operation in residential environments.
Injection-molded components were selected for their durability, strength, and cost-effective production.

05
THE FINAL PRODUCT
The result is a sleek, minimalist monitoring platform that discreetly integrates advanced healthcare
technology into the home. Today, the system is installed in homes across the United States, helping
healthcare providers remotely monitor patients in high-risk populations while maintaining comfort,
dignity, and a non-clinical living environment.
